Are you a fan of classic films like The Godfather, Gone with the Wind, Star Wars, Citizen Kane, and Casablanca? Would you like to discuss them with other film fanatics? Then this is the group for you!
We meet monthly to discuss one of the top 100 films of all time (based on the "Top 100 Movies of All Time" list at davesmoviedatabase.com). Please note: We do not watch the movies together. Participants watch the movies on their own.
Also: there is a waiting list for the group so members are not automatically approved. However, that also means that I regularly purge inactive members (generally those who haven't attended for five months or more) to make room for new people.

Join us for a discussion of Clockwork Orange. It ranks #73 on our list of top 100 movies of all time. This 1971 adaptation of the novel by Anthony Burgess was directed by Stanley Kubrick and starred Malcolm McDowell. Filmsite.org called it “a glossy, stylish, graphically-violent, controversial, futuristic, science-fiction satire about the effects of crime and punishment…on a British teenaged punk."
