You're in or around Zürich, but you're still looking for your people. Maybe you've been to other Meetups, and they were too superficial, not as described, or not what you needed. Maybe the people were great, but the setting didn't leave you room to connect.
If so, this group may be for you.
We're a group of people who are interested in building community in Zürich. We're trying out different ways to bring humans together, to see what works. And we're making friends and having fun along the way. If this idea speaks to you, we hope you can join us!

We love hiking, and we love stories too. This is a relatively easy hike from Pfäffikon ZH to Bäretswil, with an emphasis on stories and connection.
We'll meet under the Blue Angel at Zürich HB at 9.15am, and then get the 9.34am train to Pfäffikon ZH. I'd expect us to be back in Zürich around 4-5pm, depending on how fast we go and how often we stop.
Here’s how it works:
- Our hikes are T1-T2. More about the people than the sweat.
- On our journey, we’ll tell a story. It can be real or made-up, yours or borrowed. It's not a competition, so don't worry if you're not a great raconteur or you don't have a jaw-dropping story to tell - it's just about sharing something. Think the Canterbury Tales, but with a Swiss twist.
- Don’t forget something to eat - and ideally, share.
- Finally, all the usual caveats apply: you’re responsible for being properly dressed and equipped (hiking boots, layers, waterproofs, water etc), and need to be aware that this isn’t a guided tour, and we’re not qualified mountain guides
