Dear old friends and new friends,
Do you ever feel like your thoughts keep racing around your mind? Do you feel hard to relax and focus in daily life? Do you have trouble falling asleep because you keep thinking about things?
Trust me, I know the feeling. You've heard that meditation is very helpful. But sitting meditation might not be suitable for everyone. We found that different kinds of active meditations and fun cultural and art activities could be easier paths to slow down our monkey minds and enhance our inner peace and happiness!
We cordially invite you to join our meditative calligraphy events. In this session, you will have a chance to learn
- a set of traditional Chinese martial art simple warm up exercise;
- interesting deep thoughts about our daily life behind some selected Chinese characters;
- basic Chinese calligraphy brush techniques;
- meditative calligraphy practice to achieve a higher state of mindfulness.
