What we’re about
The First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco (UUSF) is a welcoming community to all who seek a congregation grounded in love, committed to caring for one another, supporting one other in spiritual growth, and dedicated to building a compassionate, just and sustainable world.
Our Unitarian Universalist (UU) faith believes that love is the power that holds us together and is at the center of our UU shared values. We are accountable to one another for doing the work of living our shared values through the spiritual discipline of Love. Inseparable from one another, these shared values are: Interdependence; Pluralism; Justice; Transformation; Generosity; Equity.
We support and encourage a lifetime pursuit of spiritual growth and learning for all ages. Through classes, programs, workshops, community events, rituals, rites of passage and worship. We invite you to join us for an event, program, or at worship!
