Background
Fit Chicks of North Idaho (formerly Fit Chicks of CDA) was formed in 2020 as a Meetup for women (21 and over) who strive to live a fit, healthy, and active lifestyle, and are interested in spending time with other women.  Our activities include downhill and XC skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, hiking, biking, line dancing, walk-a-bouts, shooting/personal safety, kayaking, socializing, and other indoor and outdoor activities. We recognize the importance of girl time to network and foster female friendships.  Our members are spread throughout North Idaho, Spokane, and beyond, and we encourage all members to consider hosting events in their areas.

Membership

Photos:  all members must post a current facial photo on their profile.  This is required for the safety of the group. Do not post photos of scenery, animals, groups, etc. or your membership request will be declined. 

Dues:  Our annual Meetup fee is $200. A few members have previously solicited and covered the dues. We have implemented annual dues to alleviate sporadic donations & burden on the organizers.

We will be renewing our FC Meet-up for 2025 and have formalized a committee of involved members who have been integral in the success of Fit Chicks of N. Idaho as advisors, organizers, & hosts with their continued commitment to the continuation & success of FCONI. Effective Jan 1, 2025, all members will be required to contribute $10.00 to retain membership status.  From Nov 1, 2024 through Dec. 1, 2024 we accept membership dues. If you are a current FC Member & dues are not received you will be deleted from the roster. You may rejoin once your payment is received.  Paypal or Venmo payment information is provided below.   In the event the Meetup folds any remaining money will be donated to charity and/or an all-group event will be held.  We track quarterly participation & delete members that are not active in our group.

Meetup Event Requirements

You are responsible for your safety and pre-determining if a listed event is appropriate for you.  Poor judgment and lack of preparation impacts the safety of other participants.   

  • Read the entire event description before signing up. Be aware that some activities pose a level of risk.  Be prepared, know your limits, dress and gear up accordingly.
  • No-Shows:  A No-Show inconveniences the Host and other participants. We track event participation and delete members with 3 No-Shows. Remove yourself from the event by changing your RSVP status to a “NO.”  There is no need to explain in the chat.
  • There is a 5-minute wait time for participants (host’s discretion) before event departures.
  • Use direct messaging if you have questions for the host/organizers.
  • Cell service may be unreliable at some sites.
  • Monitor the weather for the location of the activity.
  • Be kind and respectful to your hosts and other members.
  • Abide by the pet exclusion/inclusion descriptions and leash law requirements.

 
Membership Agreement
Payment of your annual dues will serve as confirmation that you agree to the conditions and guidelines of the Fit Chicks of North Idaho Meetup.

Payment Instructions
In the details, you must include FCONI 2025, the name you used to join FC, and your town. We have multiple members with the same first name.
