Introduction to Oakland and Why We Love This Great Bay Area Flipping Gold Mine

I live in Newark/Fremont Area and oftentimes when I recommend Oakland as a great place to invest in, investors choose to disagree with me. I remember speaking at a Realty411 event in San Jose many years ago and I touted Oakland as THE flip capital of America. Many guests left the room. I remember shooting a video at the beautiful Lake Chalet at Lake Merritt and talking about the mayor's office not doing a good job of advertising Oakland.

Where do you get the best views of San Francisco and the Bay Area as a whole? You get those views from Oakland Hills. I remember taking what I felt was the wrong turn to Berkeley from Newark. My navigator took me up Tunnel Road and up a narrow street. I looked down and I was in awe. I saw San Francisco and it looked like what you see on postcards. It was absolutely picturesque! Stunning!!! Another time, I drove up Grizzly Peak and looked down and I saw heaven on earth. That's what you get in Oakland from Oakland. Have you taken the ferry from Jack London Square to San Francisco's Financial District? It's calm. The ride is only 20 minutes and costs only $5.

That's what the media doesn't tell you. Instead, you hear about all the crime and homelessness. And there's that, too. However, that's only 5% or less about Oakland.

When we meet, I will take you on a short tour of Oakland. We will visit Lake Merritt, Jack London Square, Sequoia Country Club, and Grizzly Peak to sample what Oakland offers in terms of neighborhoods and scenery. We will also visit my current flipping ventures, so you know how active I really am in this spectacular city.
