Join the Central Florida Chapter of the Florida Trail Association for an unforgettable Full Moon Hike at Econ Sandhills! This special 3.2-mile night hike will take place under the full moon, creating a magical experience in the heart of Florida's wilderness.

• Date & Time: Friday night, November 15 at 6:00 PM
• Arrive by: 5:45 PM for check-in; the hike begins promptly at 6:00 PM

What to Expect:
This scenic 3.2-mile hike will take us through pine flatwoods and sandhill terrain, as we explore the unique landscape under the full moon. This is a peaceful opportunity to witness nocturnal wildlife in their natural habitat. No pets are allowed to help ensure we don’t disturb the animals we may encounter.

What to Bring:

• Water: Stay hydrated.
• Flashlight/Headlamp: For additional safety in darker areas.
• Comfortable Attire: We recommend sturdy shoes suitable for hiking.
• Insect Repellent: Recommended.
• Layers: Evening temperatures may drop.
• Snacks: Although this hike is short I always recommend that folks bring a snack or two.
