November Member Update

I am back in Florida from my cycle in the west. I hosted/guided many events in SoCal and did the 14Day Best of the Rest of California w S.Oregon Trip. Now back in Florida till March as hopefully most years going forward I will be in Florida from Nov. till March w the rest In the West and Group Trips or Solo Trips myself. Probably 1-2mos. summer back in Florida. I am creating events but not rushing Kayak/SUP Events yet till I feel the water and all is safe and enjoyable for all of us. This needs sadly to be repeated but still too many are not Re-Confirming RSVP GOING in the Comments Section by commenting GOING or editing their RSVP Status as needed. I close Most Events 2Days prior to get an accurate count up to 24hrs. prior to events of those actually showing vs no-shows. Meetup Doubled its Cost that I gladly pay but as has been said sadly way too often, those RSVP GOING who actually Re-Confirm and Show vs how many sometimes No-Show is disrespectful to ALL of Us. 3 No-Shows will cause removal from group. It is not an accurate gauge of how many will show based on RSVPs GOING vs actual Re-Confirmed Going. Editing/Updating RSVPs after RSVPs Close can be done via the app or let us know in the comments since web meetup doesn't work for editing RSVP after RSVPs close. Please start checking Events Comment Section 3Days Prior for Event Updates & Re-Confirmation Process and since we may have a waitlist. If you are getting too many email notices of comments just turn off in settings for group but still check comments. If you prvt Chat Message Me let me know event you are chat messaging me about if applicable. As in Most Event Top Bold Header if 4 of us incl me are not re-confirmed as going by 24hrs. prior to event I reserve the option to Not Host/Guide and post in event comments as such.
