Florida Outdoors: Snorkel, Bike, Kayak & More...

Gonna keep this one close to home for me. This will be approximately sixteen (16) mile ride from the beautiful Fern Forrest in Coconut Creek along the Cypress Creek Greenway trail to the Sawgrass Trailhead and back. Most of the ride is on the wide trail along the Pompano Canal. We will be on street or sidewalk for a short distance. (see the light green line on the map below which is the trail all the way out to sawgrass)

Peddles up at 10 am sharp.

Afterwards we can have a quick walk on part of the nature boardwalk.

The park offers free parking and restrooms.

SUNDAY BOCA BIKE RIDES ARE BACK

Let's bike the El Rio Trail, FAU, and other parks.

What to bring:
- helmet
- flasher attached to the rear of your bike (highly recommended)
- plenty of water
- snack if you choose

Things to keep in mind:
- stay single file on the road when no marked bike lane (WPB & Jupiter)
- be mindful of traffic if riding along someone in a bike lane
- be on time
- RSVP if you plan to attend
- change your RSVP to “no” if you change your mind

MEETINGN PLACE: Costco parking lot just SW of the Gas Station, near
the gas station entrance against the trees/shrubs
MEETING TIME: 9:45AM
PEDDLES UP: 10:00AM

Our pace will be about 10-12 miles per hour. The ride is approximately 12-14 miles. Sometimes we will bike additional miles. Before deciding to do so, we always take a vote. Rest breaks are a given.

Join us for a fun-filled day of coed softball in South Florida, where the focus is all about having a great time, meeting new friends, and enjoying some light-hearted competition. Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to try something new, our games are perfect for everyone!

We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive, laid-back atmosphere where teamwork, respect, and a positive attitude take center stage. With our no-strikeout policy, we welcome players of all skill levels, making it easy for beginners to jump right in and for experienced players to enjoy the game in a relaxed setting.

Our games are more than just about scoring runs—they’re about building a community, staying active, and soaking up the beautiful South Florida weather at Pioneer Park. It's the perfect chance to get outside, laugh, and enjoy some good-natured competition.

To make sure everyone has a blast, we cap each team at 12 players, rotating in extras if needed, so everyone gets their time on the field. And while we keep things light, we encourage everyone to practice basic softball skills—like throwing, catching, running, and batting—beforehand, perhaps with a visit to a local batting cage.

Safety comes first, so if you’re new to the sport or haven’t played in a while, it’s a good idea to check in with your doctor before joining us on the field. Your well-being is important to us, and we want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
