Welcome to the Creative Flow Jam, a gathering where creativity knows no boundaries and spontaneity rules the day! This is a safe, judgment-free space where artists, poets, musicians, dancers, and anyone curious about the creative process can come together to explore, express, and co-create. Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting to explore your creative side, all are welcome.
In each session, we tap into our individual and collective flow states, allowing creativity to emerge naturally. There’s no pressure to "get it right". Our sessions are all about creative freedom. No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to create something new in the moment.
We’ll kick off with a serving of cacao, the perfect heart-opener to spark your inspiration. From there, it’s all about diving into the moment—whether you’re creating solo or teaming up with others to build something unexpected. Come ready to play, connect, and see where your creativity takes you!
What to Expect?
- Arrival & Cacao Ceremony: Arrive and settle in with a serving of ceremonial cacao. This time is for relaxing, connecting with others, and preparing for the creative session ahead.
- Hot Potato Idea Exchange: We’ll warm up with a playful “Hot Potato” exercise. Bring an idea you’re excited about or create one on the spot. In small groups, we’ll share ideas and pass them along, with each person adding their unique perspective before moving it forward. This exercise is all about exploring new perspectives and letting ideas evolve together.
- Creative Jam: The space is open for spontaneous creation. Feel free to paint, draw, write, play music, or move. You can work solo or collaborate with others—whatever feels right.
- Closing Reflection: We’ll come together in a circle to reflect on the night, share any experiences or creations, and close with gratitude.
What to Bring?
- Any art supplies you like to work with (paints, sketchbooks, markers, musical instruments, etc.).
- Comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely, especially if you want to dance or explore movement.
- An open heart, an open mind, and a willingness to explore your creativity in new and unexpected ways!
