Flutter Cracow invites mobile tech enthusiasts and Flutter developers to join us for ninth meetup. It's an opportunity to meet, learn new things, share experiences beyond platforms and to network. The event is open to everyone interested in exploring Flutter framework and Dart language, regardless of their level of experience. Our goal is to build a local Flutter community in Kraków.

Abstract: Join me for a journey through the world of Flutter testing. During this talk you'll learn how to approach multiple levels of testing in Flutter without going crazy. We will go together through popular tools (e.g. patrol, mocktail) , strategies (functional and non-functional) and robot pattern, that will help you get your code in order and discover undisputed benefits of having test files on your side.
This session will cover healthy test flow, importance and mechanism of TDD and BDD, give viewers clear definitions of mocks and approaches to AAA patterns. At last I will recommend additional testing tools we explored during development of real-estate mobile app.
By the end of our session, you'll have a clear understanding of definitions, types of flutter tests and validated ways of working with them.

Paweł Kastelik - I have been coding professionally with Flutter since the 1.0 release. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of Dart code and have been involved in various projects, including social media apps, finance, fitness, marketplace, healthcare, and entertainment applications. I love Flutter framework and the possibilities it offers to developers because strongly believe in "one code to rule them all" philosophy. Currently working as Flutter Developer at OLX real estate branch.

🎙️ 19:15 - Rafał Płonka - Flutter Web: Tips, Tricks, and Overcoming Obstacles

Abstract: In this talk, I’ll share insights gained from developing and maintaining an app using Flutter Web. I’ll discuss key lessons learned, persistent GitHub issues, some workarounds for them, and offer a glimpse into the future of WebAssembly (Wasm).

I played a crucial role in my company’s transition from native app development to adopting Flutter, from its early stages to the robust framework it is today. I’ll talk about our efforts and the approaches that allowed us to maintain a consistent codebase across both mobile and web platforms. Join me to explore the journey, challenges, and opportunities that have come with Flutter Web development in recent years.
