Maple Bay Campground at Cultus Lake Provincial Park (1 night)

I have booked a single campsite at Maple Bay Camground at Cultus Lake for 1 night from 2 pm Saturday September 21, 2024 to 11 am Sunday September 22, 2024.

The campground is situated close to a quiet beach where you can soak in the sun and/or paddle. The campground is also near the Teapot trail for hikes and near the Vedder River.

My goal is mainly to practise cooking with real Maple wood fire. For the other guests, you can cook, camp, hike, paddle or fish. I won't be bringing any boats.

We leave Vancouver at around 1 pm on Saturday. Set up camp and go out and do our activities. In the morning, we can go for the Teapot hike or go fish after we have checked out. If there is consensus amongst this camping group, I can schedule the Teapot trail hike for Sunday morning at 10 am.

A valid fishing license is required if you want to fish and you must wear a lifejacket or personal flotation device if you plan to paddle.

Attendance will be taken for this event. The weather forecast indicates the weather might be nice. Noshows and last minute cancellation will be immediately removed from the group.

A waitlist will be established and members will be selected on the basis of their answers to the questions and previous reliability. If you do not answer any of the questions, you would be moved directly to Not Going. Preference will be given to those members who have demonstrated their commitment and reliability in past events. No reason will be provided for why you were not selected from the waiting list.

My car can only fit 1 or 2 more persons so another car and driver is needed to make up maximum 4 occupancy for the campsite.

By RSVP, yes, you agree to the risks in an outside environment. The organizer is not responsible for any injury, illness or any other liabilities you acquired before, during or after the event. We do not tolerate reckless behaviour. We are a group of volunteers and not professional tour guides. As a group of friends and acquaintances, we will look after one another.
