Details

This event is subject to 48 hours weather forecast cancellation. If it rains moderately or more, this event will be cancelled.

We are starting out from the Watt Creek Trailhead parking area. If you can't find parking, Maple Bay beach has plenty of parking at this area.

The hike for either trail is rated Moderate and 2 hours. We will combine both trails. We will start off at Watt Creek trailhead, walk up Watt Creek a bit and then go to the Teapot hill and then then go to the Teapot trail. We won't descend down to the parking lot. We will return back to the Watt Creek trailhead. Hike should take around 2.5 hours to3 hours or less.

After we finish the hike, we can go for lunch. We can have expensive pizza or cheaper better pizza. We can have Japanese or Italian or go to a White Spot. The group can decide.

Parking might be a challenge so we highly encourage carpooling.

If anybody is willing to carpool others, please leave a comment. Please make your own arrangements. Passengers, please reimburse your driver.

Bring water, appropriate footwear (good walking shoes or hiking shoes/boots), headwear, weather-appropriate clothing (including a jacket in case it rains slightly), and, if you feel any of them necessary, snacks, sunscreen and bug spray.

Any members bringing guest are responsible of taking care of their guest.
