Forgotten NJ: "The Station Agent" Movie Screening

Join us for a screening of "The Station Agent" (2003), a dramedy set in Newfoundland, New Jersey, that follows a man who moves into an abandoned train depot and unexpectedly discovers friendship in an isolated place. The film explores themes of connection and finding meaning in overlooked spaces—perfectly aligning with the spirit of our group.

We’ll mingle and enjoy some light snacks before watching the movie on a projector. After the screening, there will be a casual discussion to share our thoughts.

• Fee: $10 per person to cover the studio rental and refreshments.
• RSVP & Payment Deadline: Please RSVP and send payment by Wednesday, December 4th, to secure your spot. RSVPs are not final until payment is received.

• Space is Limited: Attendance is capped at 15 people, so make sure to reserve your spot early!
• Guests Welcome: You’re welcome to bring a guest who is not part of the Meetup group. Please note that they will also need to pay $10, as their spot would otherwise go to another member of the group.

• 7:00 PM: Doors open, mingling, and snacks
• 7:30 PM: Film screening begins
• Post-Screening: Casual group discussion
