I know it is super early to add this as an event, but because it is so far away and requires some planning, I wanted to give everyone an opportunity to put it on your calendar. The Sandfest is so much fun! It is a Friday through Sunday event. I plan to go, minimally, Thursday through Monday. There is camping directly on the beach either with a self-contained RV or tents. It was very windy last year so come prepared for extra stake downs for tents and also alternate plans for eating since cooking may or may not be possible. There is an admission fee to Sandfest and tickets are available in advance, online or you can purchase on site. There is a cut off for purchasing online so you would want to review the website. Diana and I went last year and would be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have about the experience. You do not need reservations for camping on the beach with an RV or tent, it is first come first served. We secured spots early on Thursday that did not require us to walk too far to the gate. (Diana, feel free to correct if my memory is foggy here. Haha). There are also RV parks and hotels nearby. Those reservations need to be made far in advance. Love and hugs to everyone!
