Please note: Meetup was previously attempting to charge members of this group $84 instead of the $2 per month dues I setup 🤦🏻♀️. I sincerely apologize for this error and hope that all who are interested will give this group another chance. I've removed the membership dues until this gets resolved.
Are there any other art enthusiasts around here? We seem to have a dire shortage of meetup groups for art in this area, other than paint n sip events lol. Hoping to find other creatives interested in watercolor, plein air painting, mixed media experimentation (gouache, acrylic, pastels, colored pencils, etc), reference & intuitive techniques — whatever makes your heart sing, let’s try it together! Beginners, professionals and anywhere in between welcome 🌸
I’m thinking we can pick places outside to paint/sketch when the weather is nice, or meet up at cafes when it’s too cold. I’d love to meet once per week or every other week. I’m open & flexible to what works for the group ☺️. Though my availability is limited to weekends, Fri evening - Sun afternoon, when my kiddos are with their dad.
