What we’re about
Fort Worth Gamers, founded in 2001, play mainly Euro type board and card games (prime examples: The Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Puerto Rico, El Grande, Imhotep, Citadels, Alhambra and San Juan), with a few abstracts (like: Ingenious, Talat, Hive, and Mancala) and an occasional light historical wargame (like: Quartermaster General, Memoir '44, and Duel in the Dark) mixed in for good measure. No experience is required and newcomers are always welcome. To see what we've been playing check out our session reports, which are posted to newsgroup dfw.games .
Fort Worth Gamers charges dues of $10 per year (cash only) for members who have attended at least three sessions. This is to help the organizer recoup the $211 per year MeetUp charges to maintain the group.
