Textile Enthusiast Group "Sewing Social"
Details
Note the new time for the event: 10:00am - 1:00 pm
This is a social group meaning an opportunity to talk about textile projects. It is also dedicated time to work on your own projects or help others get started. The focus is on Textiles. That means sewing, quilting, pattern making and any other project that involves the use of textile materials.
No matter what your level, or what your "textile thing" is, you are all welcome at this event. Bring your "UFO's" (unfinished objects) or start something new. Ask questions if you need help or work independently there are no rules! Show-n-tell is also encouraged. Don't be shy...show and share your skills.
BTW: FoxBuild has a fully stocked textile area with a variety of machines for use by members (and guests) but there aren't enough for all. Therefore, we recommend you bring your machine, tools and any supplies needed for your project. If you have questions or want to reserve one of their machines for this event, please contact Chris Dahl to see what's available.
Event is typically held upstairs in the maker space, and sorry by it's an old bldg. with no elevator. Parking in the back, on the street or at many of the public lots and garages nearby. The doors are typically locked, but I will have the one that leads upstairs (on 64/Mainstreet under the hanging FoxBuild sign) open.
Every 2nd Saturday of the month until September 13, 2025
