What we’re about
Photography - the art of freezing our favorite moment.
This has become freezing multiple moments and choosing our favorite moment.
Hello my friends, Jay here! I see a lot of beginners asking tips and tricks regarding photography and videography. I see a lot of veterans as well who share their experiences, photos and videos, which are really helpful. As a way of giving back to the community and to help beginners to get started with their photography, I would like to offer my time to create a beginner & intermediate level course so you can join in and ask your doubts in the Q&A session.
Cameras: Sony A6700, A7Cii, Fujifilm X100vi
Topics:
1. Basics of photography
2. Understanding sensors, cameras and lenses
3. A6700/Sony new menu camera setting up.
4. Manual, Shutter priority and Aperture priority
5. View into various photography genre like
5.1. Landscape
5.2. Wildlife
5.3. Portrait
5.4. Events and sports
5.5 Other special photography
Including camera settings and photography techniques
6. Post processing
I am planning on live streaming the course so you can join the stream in my channel: https://www.youtube.com/@alissaandjay, comment your questions in chat which will be consolidated by my wife, Alissa and will be answered in Q&A sessions after every few slides. I want it to be as interactive as possible to get you started in this art. If you want a 1-1 Q&A post the session, you can connect with me on FB messenger: https://www.facebook.com/jayakarthi.natarajan.1
This is going to be free of course and I would like to know how many of you would be interested.
The session will be long (around 3-4 hours, maybe more) and it will be either on 15th December or 22nd December. I would also like to understand the timezone details of the majority of the interested participants so that I can settle on the timing. The updates on the date and timings will be posted on the community page: https://www.youtube.com/.../UCH2jVAWOm-ykH0Kr.../community
I go in depth in explaining why we do what we do and I believe when the basics are right, we grow better and faster.

Thank you.
