THIS is the place to find fabulous people, doing things you'd like to do, that are either free or inexpensive in Salt Lake City... come on, join us!

Members of this group are people just like yourself, looking to find great new friends and to try new activities, without spending a fortune.  Who says you have to pay a fortune to have fun?

Our events are:

      FREE or fairly INEXPENSIVE.  We will try to provide you with information concerning FREE events here in Salt Lake City. We also want to let you know about events that are fun, but may cost you. We try to keep these events in the INEXPENSIVE category.  If there's a cost, it will be notated by two $$ in front of the event. The cost will also be clearly noted in the event description.

      Centered on building a COMMUNITY and meeting FRIENDS. This means that a host should be present for MOST events. The host must give specific directions for where to meet, when and how to find each other.  Occasionally, I'll post an event as FYI only if I can't host.

      FUN! The best part of Meetup is the fun you will have meeting awesome new people while trying out fun new activities. Have a blast! Take photos and post them! Review your events so we know what you like and what you want more of.

HOW TO BE PART OF US

Simply join the group on meetup and start attending events!  Once you've signed up, take that scary first step- RSVP to an event and then show up.  From there it's easy- the members of this group are a welcoming bunch.  When you get to the event, check in with the Event Host so they can introduce you to the rest of the group.

If you find that you're unable to make it to an event you'd planned on, it's no big deal.  Just update your RSVP and we won't hold it against you!  But please....do update your RSVP to show you are not going.

On the day of the event, we'll typically post important details on how to meet in the comments section of the event page.  You can also use the comments section to ask questions about the event at any time.
