Please join us for a virtual French/English language exchange on Zoom!

As a result of meeting virtually, we are delighted to offer the opportunity to practice French and English with members globally.

GOAL
To provide a relaxed and friendly environment where you can develop your linguistic skills and abilities in the language that you are learning whilst helping others develop their abilities in the language of which you are already fluent or advanced.

HOW IT WORKS
-Members meet in the main chat / reception room
-Members are placed into "Breakout Rooms"
Each breakout room will:
\-\- Last for 30 minutes \(15 minutes in French / 15 minutes in English\)
\-\- Ideally have 4 members\, half practicing English and half practicing French

* After 30 minutes, there will be a short break. Thereafter, you will join a new breakout room with other members and repeat the process.
-There will be a total of 2 or 3 sessions of 30 minute language exchange

REQUIREMENTS
Since this is a conversation group, we kindly ask that you have a minimum of A2+/B1- (Advanced Elementary/Beginner Intermediate, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

We hope you are keeping well despite current situation with COVID-19. Furthermore, we hope you will take advantage of this time to continue to improve your French and English language skills.

OBJECTIF
Fournir un lieu tranquille, décontracté, et amical où vous pouvez développer vos compétences et aptitudes dans la langue que vous désirez apprendre tout en aidant d'autres membres à apprendre la langue que vous maîtriser déjà.

COMMENT ÇA MARCHE ?
-Les membres se rencontrent dans la salle de réception virtuelle
-Nous répartissons ensuite les membres dans des « petites salles de discussion virtuelles »
Chaque salle de discussion aura idéalement quatre membres, dont la moitié pratique l’anglais et l’autre moitié le français.
Durée : 30 minutes (15 minutes en français / 15 minutes en anglais)

Après 30 minutes, il y aura une courte pause. Ensuite, vous vous rejoindrez une nouvelle salle de discussion virtuelle avec d’autres membres pour un second tour. Il y aura jusqu'à deux ou trois séances.

REQUIS
Comme c'est un groupe de conversation, il est conseillé d'avoir au minimum un niveau A2+/B1- (débutant avancé / pré-intermédiaire, cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues).

Nous espérons que vous portez bien malgré la situation avec COVID-19. En plus, nous espérons que vous profiterez de la situation actuelle en approfondissant vos compétences dans les langues français et anglais!
