If you love the French language, this group is for you!
Once a month, French speakers and French language lovers gather at the French Institute of Michigan, in Farmington hills to talk about a French movie, sip some wine and share their thoughts about the movie.
Right now please note the meetings are online on zoom! Watch the movie at your convenience before the meeting and then join everyone to discuss it !
This meetup is for all levels of French and the movies all have English subtitles. This is a nice way to start the weekend and to practice your French in a very friendly environment.

Following the success of the watercolor workshops earlier this year, we have the pleasure to offer 3 new workshops with Cara our French speaking artist for "Sip, paint and chat... in French"!
These watercolor workshops are open to everyone (adults and teens), all painting abilities and all levels of French (recommended from the A2 level).
The cost for each 2 hour workshop is $40 ($35 for an Alliance française member) and includes snacks and drinks

Join us Saturday December 7th @7pm for the screening of "Un vrai bonhomme"/"man up!" a 2019 French-Belgian coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Benjamin Parent.
It follows Tom, 16, a sensitive teenager who is about to enter a new high school after being expelled. He intends to find his place, make friends and seduce the girl he loves. Tom needs the support of his older brother, Leo, a true mentor, who is working to make him a “cool kid”. However, Leo's fraternal benevolence hides a destructive temperament... Will Tom be able to grow up finding his own path?
