České středohoří - Hazmburk ruin – 30 km

Dear Adventurers,

This Sunday we are going to visit our favorite České středohoří. A highlight of the hike is a ruin of a medieval castle Hazmburk.

Trail: walking
Grade: 4-5 km/hour. ↑ ~600 m | ~600 m↓

• Travel info:
→ We will take a train R 696 at 6:45 from Praha hlavní nádraží to Bohušovice nad Ohří and then a local bus to Budyně nad Ohří.
← We will finish our hike in Lovosice and take a direct train back to Prague, either Os 6921 at 16:31, or R 693 at 17:59.
Please buy your own train tickets.

Pro tips:
1. The morning train R 696 stops at Praha-Holešovice and Praha-Podbaba as well, so you can join us there.
2. If you want to save some coins (~60 CZK), you can use PID Litacka app to buy a ticket from Prague to Roudnice nad Labem and then IDOS app to buy a ticket from Roudnice nad Labem to Bohušovice nad Ohří.

• What to bring
-Comfortable hiking footwear with good grip.
-Waterproof and layers. Dress warm.
-Tea/coffee/water/snacks & lunch to keep you going.
-Bring a headlamp/flashlight if you have it in case we don’t finish before dark.
-It's a good idea to have a map app installed on your phone.
