Friends, Food and Fonts

We are Friends Food and Fonts, a ladies bookclub who meet on the first Saturday of each month in the Santa Clarita Valley to discuss our latest read. An established group of almost 4 years that started on Meetup, we closed our roster for awhile due to maximum capacity- but we are now looking for a few new members!DETAILS ON US:
Meetings: 1st Saturday of each month from 1-3pm in SCV (Holidays we adjust)
Dues: None
Hosts: Each member is a "Host" for a month of the year, sign-ups are in January. (Hosting means YOU choose the book and provide the venue and snacks for group discussion; your home a restaurant, etc...)
Monthly ratings: we deep discuss all books and each member gives a rating from 1-5, which gives us the "monthly rating".
Winners and Losers: Each year, we have a "Best book" and "Worst book" choice via monthly group rating. The lucky hosts of these two books receive a crown (including ceremony) for the year, which is passed on each December at our annual holiday party. (We laugh until we cry, every time)!
Book types: all are welcome aside from self-help, religious or political (fun, no fighting!)
