## Meeting Place: CCC Field

This week we are going to freshly mulch the area around the mountain laurels at the CCC field. The mulch is already in place, and we will have wheelbarrows, pitchforks and rakes on-hand to get it nicely spread.

In general, we typically work in the park managing the gardens, installing new plants, transplanting and weeding to keep the park looking good and healthy. No experience required. Bring your favorite garden tools, kneeling pad and gloves. You may also want to bring water and a light snack. As you accumulate volunteer hours it will allow you to earn a state-wide park pass and other rewards.
