What we’re about
This is a group for devotees of the Sherlock Holmes stories and admirers of the literary works of Arthur Conan Doyle. Sir Arthur was an author, doctor, all-around athlete, public figure, historian, seeker of justice, spiritualist and much more. We support and enjoy the magnificent collection dedicated to him at the Toronto Reference Library, one of Toronto's best-kept secrets. We have a free annual public lecture with an entertaining speaker on a theme related to Conan Doyle's life and works. We publish a newsletter and the text of the speech and we help the Collection to purchase important material. Our website is www.acdfriends.org
