What we’re about
Friends Seeking Adventure 30 and Up is a group for people who are adventurous and that are looking for other like-minded individuals to join in the fun with them. Solo adventures can be fun but not all the time :)
This group isn’t meant to be huge with 500+ members, because I believe smaller groups are more likely to have blossoming friendships that can last a lifetime. That’s why I started this group in the first place.
The goal is not to be a singles group but is to meet genuinely good people that you can call friends and eventually family. We will do this by dabbling in a little bit of everything from escape rooms, volunteering in the community, going to sporting events, singing our hearts out at karaoke, playing mini golf, racing go karts, to game nights, fine dining and hanging out at bars and pubs just to name a few things. I am always opening to event ideas, so please share! If you are interested in hosting an event, I’m definitely down! FYI this is not a hiking group as I suck at hiking BUT if you’re willing to host a hiking event, it is any kind of group you want it to be because this is OUR group 😜
Dues have temporarily been suspended. I am not doing the same amount of events I was when I first opened the group. Having said that, I will keep the group open for now and pay the fee to do so. I will eventually be back on my A game and I do appreciate your patience thus far. If dues were to ever resume at any point, you would be given at minimum a two week notice.
Just FYI, the first two weeks used to be free to join and after that it used to be $5 per month to be a part of this awesome group. I hoped you saw the value in what this group has to offer and can see what sets us apart from every other group. Come join me in our next adventure! At that time I was doing 2-3 events per week but since things have slowed down due to personal reasons, so to be fair, dues have been suspended and it is now free to join for now.
We do have a ALL Current Members RSVP Page as an “event” but it’s not an actually event you attend. When you sign up, please RSVP to this non-event. This is how I share info with you about last minute updates such as I have an extra opening available at an event or a free ticket just became available or would you like to see this event happen kind of thing. Also, you can check out a lot of our past group pictures here as well as in each past event to see all the fun 🤩
Rules:
Must be 30 years of age or older
RSVP with integrity because on your 2nd no show, you will be removed from the group.
In order to attend a home event, you and your plus one (if a plus one is allowed), must have attended an out of home event prior to the home event. This is for safety reasons.
Above all else, please be kind! Do unto others as you’d like them to do to you. Easy peezy!
