**the BASICS**
We'll start with the basics - the lines, the basic rules, scoring, and where to stand to receive the serve.
**the SERVE**
We’ll dive into the serve – who, where, how, and how many times.
You'll learn the 2 TYPES of serves - the volley serve (and it's rules) and the drop serve (and its rules).
THEN you'll PRACTICE serving!
**NET PLAY (or the "KITCHEN")**
You’ll learn the difference between a “dink” and a “volley”
It’s also important to know what you can and can’t do at the net!
THEN you'll PRACTICE dinking and volleying.
**COURT SAVY**
Finally, we’ll PLAY some games and you'll use and reinforce everything you've JUST learned!

Playing attire is comfortable for play.
Good court shoes are required (no slip sole – NO marking soles)
