What we’re about
A group for people who enjoy a variety of outdoor adventures, and going off the beaten path. Entry-level activities for getting to know new members are just evenings at a bar, or half-day hiking trips.
Mid-level activities could be weekend SUV- or motorcycle-camping trips with more extensive hiking and exploration off the beaten path, and/or MTB & gravel bike riding - depending on people's interest and who has the bikes. In the winter months - you guessed it! - skiing and snowboarding.
High-commitment activities for people with whom I've built enough mutual trust - can be flight trips on rental 4-seater aircraft like Cessna-182, or Diamond DA-40 from COS airport to destinations which are too far for a road trip. I'm a pilot but will be sharing the aircraft rental and fuel costs same as everyone aboard.
Also - can organize hunting trips. I prefer to combine those with camping in the same general area, since good hunting starts at dawn.
I have experience organizing such events in the past, prior to moving to Colorado, but now I'm here and would love to build a group of like-minded adventure friends as well!
