'Queer Culture Speaker Series' is a line-up of 3 talks over 3 weeks, organised by the Pink Alliance.

HK LGBTQ+ History
“All the things she said”: Navigating HK queer landscape in 2000s as a young lesbian
presented by Dr Sonia Wong, Lecturer, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

The talk explores a young HK lesbian’s coming of age while navigating the city’s queer landscape in the 2000s, from fashion, favourite hangouts, pop culture moments, to tide-changing LGBTQ milestones in Hong Kong and abroad. Dr Sonia Wong will focus on the more hidden aspects of local LGBTQ history, namely that of queer women, by introducing landmark studies of local lesbian history, all woven together through her own personal journey from student to scholar.
