Bamahenge Solstice & Dinasaur Hunt

Join us in greeting Winter on the Solstice at Bamahenge.

After inspecting the 'henge we will search for the four dinosaurs known to be in the area. This quest will take us on a 1.5 mile round trip journey down a mowed double track along an existing paved road. Later we can try to get a glimpse of The Lady in the Lake and the medieval knights before we meet at a new destination for an early lunch.

Directions to Bamahenge

Drive US Hwy 98 either eight miles east of Foley, AL, or 21 miles west of downtown Pensacola, FL. Turn south onto County Rd 95. Drive five miles, then turn right onto Fish Trap Road. Drive a half-mile, then turn left at
the Barber Marina sign. Drive one mile and you'll see the gravel Bamahenge parking area on the right.
