Friday Evening Co-ed Outdoor Sand Volleyball @ Liberty Park - No Beginner

Players must be able to successfully bump, set, spike, and serve 70% of the time. Positive attitude and energy is a must. Sand is soft like beach sand.

Note - We need to reserve the sand court(s) at Liberty Park in order to play here. The City of Cerritos requires exactly two days before the event to reserve the sand courts. We need to get a headcount by Tuesday night because we have to call the City of Cerritos on Wednesday morning to reserve the sand court(s) for Friday evening. If you're planning to play with us on Fridays at Liberty Park at 6:00 PM, please RSVP on Meetup by Tuesday night. Thanks.

To promote teamwork, fair play, and fun for all; these rules will be enforced.

Setter - you must distribute the set as evenly as possible between the front left and right hitters. Don't set the back row (aka pipe). Your main responsibility as a setter is to set the front row hitters, and occasionally set to middle position as long as the middle hitter is behind the 10 ft line.

Hitter - If you just got a set, don't call for another set. Let your teammate have a chance as well. If you're in the back row, don't call for pipe. Let the front row hitters have a chance.

Serving- Servers must call the score prior to serving to the opposing team to avoid confusion.

Passes and sets may not be as good as you like, you need to work with what you get.

EVENT HOST: Abide by rules set forth by the host. Host can and will remove you from this group if needed.

RSVP: You must be listed as "Going" on the RSVP list to play. If you signup for an event, but are then unable to attend, please be courteous and change your RSVP to "Not Going" so that someone on the Waitlist can attend.

WAITLIST: Joining the Waitlist does not guarantee you a spot to play. Players will be added to the "Going" list based on balance of players.

CANCELLATIONS: If you develop a pattern of RSVPing and then cancelling (for example, you cancel more often than you attend), you may automatically be moved to "Not Going" to allow other players, who want to play and show up consistently, a spot to play.

LATE CANCELATIONS: Late Cancelations will be marked as a "No Show!"
