What we’re about
The Fun 50s Plus group is dedicated to meeting new friends, adventure, excitement, and fun to our everyday lives. Primarily for Temple, Belton & Killeen but will also include activities in Florence, Georgetown, Round Rock and Waco. Our goal is to have several events every month giving members ample opportunity to choose to enhance their lives with like-minded friends.
Our membership is open to everyone ages 50 and up, who are, or want to be, very active! We are singles, never married, divorced, widow or widower and empty nesters. We know there are people like us out there locally that interested in different activities with few places / ways to meet.
We will be regularly hosting a wide variety of events: happy hours, trivia, dining, sports events, dancing, concerts and live music, arts, day-trips, game nights, movies, theater, holiday parties and a whole lot more. You are sure to find some events and some great friendly people to enjoy those events with. As a member you are invited to pursue becoming an "Event Host" and/or "Event Organizer" and share your ideas of fun and happiness with others. Hosting an event is one of the best ways to get to know new people and make new friends.
