Folks, we have to rely on paid court reservations for Wednesdays. PAY 8 DAYS IN ADVANCE! Please be sure to read ALL details!!!

OUR MOTTO: We are here to play tennis, have fun and build a community atmosphere that is friendly, respectful, and social for all!

GREETINGS: We will alternate to host the Wednesday meets. Players' levels vary from beginners to 3.5. Most can usually find someone to play with at our level and above. See US Tennis Association's videos on the rating of players' levels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdg0YavbJLc

COURTESY: Please be polite towards other players. Harassment of any form is not allowed. This is a social tennis group, not a competitive cohort. We try our best to identify players at the same level. When we intervene to place players in different groups, please know we try to enable all groups to play with good intentions. If more advanced players are in a group with beginners, be ready to offer kind suggestions and tips. Be nice and a joy to be around!

COURTS: Park location (follow the pin drop)We will rely on PAID reservations to ensure we have enough courts for everyone. If you would like to attend we highly suggest sending $2.50 to the host ASAP to secure your spot (payment instructions below). The sooner we receive payment the better as that allows us to plan out how many courts to reserve.

Note: You may still attend if you RSVP and prefer not to pay $2.50, but please note that to be fair to others who did pay, you will not be allowed to play on our paid court. You must instead look for another court on a first-come, first-served basis.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Because we are paying to reserve courts this week, if you RSVP and pay $2.50 that cost is non-refundable to you unless a) we cancel due to weather or b) we can find someone to replace your spot.

PARKING: The address is "1200 W Tyvola Rd, Charlotte, NC". You can also click on the Google Map on this page and follow the directions from there.

LOGISTICS: Players are encouraged to bring their own racquet, a bottle of water, and tennis balls if you have any. This group provides additional tennis balls as backups. The latest we'll cancel an event (usually due to weather) will be an hour prior to the start time.

SOCIAL: From time to time, we organize post-tennis socials for players to participate safely. Sometimes due to weather or health concerns, we may not be able to do so. If there are socials, we'll announce the location ahead of time or on the court. You are welcome to join us for a drink or dish at a brewery, bar or restaurant friendly to sporting groups within 5 minutes' drive.

SUPPORT OUR GROUP: The Meetup app charges us $200 each year just to keep our group active, so we humbly appreciate any donations you are able to give to our Pledge campaign! All funds raised are 100% allocated to Meetup platform costs and tennis balls for our events.
