Welcome to Fun for Cat People Meetup.com! This group is designed for all those cat enthusiasts out there who are interested in exploring our vibrant town while also lending a helping paw to our local animal rescues & small businesses.
We host some cat themed events & other simple meetups at great spots in Long Beach and the surrounding Orange County & Los Angeles areas. We're here to go out, try new things, and have a meow-nificent time together!
You don't need to own a cat to be a cat person. Do you like cats? Great! You are our people 😺✨️

Cool Cat Collective is the cat themed boutique of your dreams! 😸
For the hoilday season, they are hosting an art gallery with local artists representing adoptable catsYes, you read that right. Each artist has chosen a rescue kitty to represent in an original artwork. 🖼🐈 they showcase rescues from all over So-Cal
The gallery opening coincides with 4th Fridays, an eclectic night market. Where pop vendors and shops along 4th street stay open late to create a fun walkable street fair 🛍

⏰️We'll meet you at Cool Cat at 6:30
🚶♀️At 7pm we'll start walking down the street together to visit other local vendors & businessesParking: the later it gets the harder it is to park. We suggest arriving close to 6pm and parking on the streets around Cool Cat Collective
