Combining the best elements of soccer, basketball, rugby, and hockey, Gaelic football is a captivating fusion of skill, strategy, and athleticism — soccer with your hands, and basketball with your feet. Join us and experience the exhilaration of Gaelic Football.
Established in 1948, Cleveland GAA stands as the heart of Gaelic games in Northeast Ohio. With vibrant teams for both men and women, our club offers dedicated leagues ensuring every player thrives in their respective divisions. As proud members of the Midwest division of the USGAA, our teams have solidified their prowess on the national stage, with our ladies' team clinching the national title in 2022, followed by our men's team in 2023.
Our regular season sees matches against rivals such as Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Buffalo, and Rochester, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie. Beyond the regular fixtures, players eagerly anticipate end-of-season travel tournaments.
We hold practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6.30pm - 7.45pm at the West Side Irish-American club in Olmsted Township. Don't hesitate to reach out!
