MOR's Presenting Prehistory: Are Hobbits Real?

Details

Join us as we attend the Museum of the Rockies lecture: Are Hobbits Real? We will meet outside of the auditorium at 515pm. Just look for the stuffed luna moth.

The unexpected discovery of a tiny human relative in Indonesia over twenty years ago has forced paleoanthropologists to rethink what it means to be human. Join science writer and editor of PBS Eons Dr. Paige Madison for Are Hobbits Real? as she invites you to meet the smallest and most enigmatic of our ancient relatives, Homo floresiensis, also known as the hobbit.

MOR's Presenting Prehistory: A Paleontology Lecture Series explores recent paleontological findings and current hypotheses as conveyed by scientists actively exploring how life on Earth has changed. Discoveries made by paleontologists continue to shed new light on the deep past of the planet and the creatures that arose here.
Refreshments will be provided post-lecture during the speaker meet-and-greet.
