What we’re about
Let’s get together and visit art gallery exhibits, museums, and performing art events like concerts and dance productions. I’m an exhibiting visual artist who is plugged-into the arts in the DMV area, and I attend arts events weekly. I started this group to find arts-lovers who would like to attend with me. Where we go can ultimately be up to the interests of the group members.

This meetup has a little flexibility.
We can meet at 1pm to view art in the museum, for anyone who wants to participate in this part. This will in part include the exhibit Gordon Parks: Camera Portraits from the Corcoran Collection.
At 2pm we can meet at the East Building Auditorium to attend the film programming Films by Gordon Parks: Harlem Family and other shorts. The films will be introduced by Philip Brookman, curator of the aforementioned exhibition.
