Galway IT / is a new community welcoming anyone interested or working in software / hardware / IT or a related field and looking to socialize, network and learn.
We meet once a month in the PorterShed in Galway. Usually with some short talks on interesting topics followed by plenty of time to network and socialize with your fellow tech enthusiasts.
This group is for the community. We want to hear from YOU what you want to learn and what events you would like to see in Galway.

Welcome to our last Meetup of 2024
This month we are getting together to talk about AI (finally!). AI has been the big topic all year, and it's been difficult to keep up. We will learn about fundamentals of AI through to practical applications for software development and architecture.
If any of that sounds interesting, then come along to PorterShed a Dó, Market Street, Galway on Monday the 2nd of December from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
There will be 2 talks on Artificial Intelligence followed by a Q&A session and some time to mingle with fellow tech enthusiasts.
