At our events GameMaker developers/users/hobbyists can come together to learn more about the game engine, share their insights/experiences, showcase games and collaborate on new projects.
Our meetups are open to all irrespective of skill level, there will be talks and discussions catered for all and everyone will have an opportunity to share what they are building.

RSVP for the next SFA jam on Saturday 30 November 2024, at Makers Massive.
The jam starts at 10AM, and show-and-tell kicks off at 7PM.
The focus of this jam is to create games or hardware for exhibition at Playtopia 2024.
Our capacity is limited to 30 people.

GameMaker Japan Meetup
Japan invites Tokyo’s indie game developers to participate in the GameMaker Japan Meetup and the Ugly X-Mas Sweater Pop-Arcade after party. This unique social gaming night brings together developers, gamers, and industry professionals to network, share, and celebrate indie games. If you’re an indie developer using GameMaker or another tool, this is your chance to present your project, network with other creatives, and engage with passionate gamers.

What We Offer to Dev Teams:
If you are selected to participate, here’s what you will receive:
- Free Entry: 3 free entry tickets for your dev team (maximum 3 members).
- Drink & Snack Tickets: 3 complimentary tickets for drinks and snacks.
- Presentation Slot: A 5-minute presentation to showcase your game to all guests.
- Table Space: Space to show your game demos or project.
- Ugly X-Mas Sweater Pop-Up Arcade after party for more networking, gameplay, and fun!
Event Schedule
- 8:00 pm – Doors Open & Game Stations Available
- 9:00 pm – Indie Developer Presentations (5 minutes per team)
- 10:00 pm – Ugly X-Mas Sweater Pop-Up Arcade after party
- 02:00 am – Event Ends
How to Apply
- Eligibility: Indie developers based in Tokyo with a team of up to 3 members.
- Game Showcase: You must have a playable demo or project pitch presentation.
- Apply By: November 30th, 2024.
- A short description of your game
- Details about your team (names and roles)
- A video of your game
