Vampire: the Masquerade V5

Welcome to the World of Darkness: Vampire the Masquerade v5! Good news! You are destined for life after death! Just this night a Malkavian seer has prophesized to me that your passage from life to un-life has been foretold since ancient times and that nothing will be the same ever again. If nothing else, the Masquerade will see to that. The Masquerade? Don’t worry, you’ll find out about that before long. The World of Darkness is a dark and dangerous place, and your character will be in danger as long as that un-life lasts, especially if you don’t uphold the Masquerade (potentially fatal if you don’t). It will be a world filled with moral and ethical dilemma, intrigue, crisis and hope. You will play a vampire, a monster who must subsist on human suffering to survive. Loss of your humanity, giving into ‘the beast’ as it were, will ultimately doom your character. There is layer upon layer of hidden powers with unknown motives. Be afraid of the dark, because there are monster in the dark, besides you, and they want you dead. Or more dead than you already are, at any rate. You get the idea.
