What we’re about
- What is the purpose of this group?
We offer a safe space for male members of the GBTQ community to explore issues relative to our lives and personal journeys.
The group is NOT aimed at hookups, judgment on appearance, or professional networking. Although these purposes can foster among members, that would be a private matter outside the group meetings.
Posting sexually explicit or inappropriate pictures will result in removal from the group.
- Who will be a part of this group and what are the rules?
Those who identify as a GBTQ male is welcomed.
All members must follow these community agreements:
a) All that is shared in the group, stays in the group!!!!
b) No photos, screenshots, screen recordings, or the like to protect member privacy
c) Both video and audio must be on during the meeting. We do not permit "blank" camera grids. We are asking for first names to be visible to join the group.
d) Be present (even if just listening). Do not be engaged in other activities or other calls during a meeting. If you can't be with us, don't come.
e) Be yourself, be authentic, don't judge others, and respect every shared perspective.
Real Talk: The above rules are clearly meant to support privacy/security so that honest discussion can be created. Respectfully, if you can't appreciate this, stay away!!!!
- What will we do at these events?
Meetings will be on the Zoom platform once a week. We hope to have some face to face meetings, but Zoom provides accessibility to a wide range of members.
Weekly topics range from the serious (politics, social, and health issues) to the social/fun (dating, family relations, life choices).
Participants should come with appropriate and safe energy!
Update: Our meetings are consistently full with robust discussions in a safe fun space. We welcome all men who intend to contribute, and wish to benefit, from this engagement.
