Welcome to the Gay Men's Fitness and Wellness Meetup group! This group is for gay men who are passionate about health, fitness, and overall well-being at any stage of life. Whether you're a gym enthusiast, a yoga lover, or looking to connect with like-minded individuals to support one another on your wellness journey, this is the place for you. We'll organize fun and engaging fitness activities, workshops, and events to help you achieve your health goals and create a strong and supportive community.
Look for classes to include Mobility and Flexibility for Active Aging, Yoga for Grief and Loss, and Yoga for Balancing Moods (Depression and Anxiety).
Join us to move, stretch, and grow with other men who share your interests in fitness and wellness!
Hosted by YogiJoPo, registered yoga teacher (RYT 500), Pilates instructor, certified personal trainer, medical exercise specialist, and massage therapist.
Yogi JoPo is also available for personal training, private yoga/Pilates classes, and "Yogassage," a blend of yoga, assisted stretching, and myofascial release.

If you are intimidated by yoga, or maybe want more focused work on opening up your joints. this class is for you! We'll use dynamic and static stretching in combination with mobility exercises to maintain or increase your range of motion and make it easier to move! (This class may be especially helpful with those who have arthritis or Parkinson's, but please consult your physician for any limitations or restrictions.)
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and plan to leave your footwear in the lobby, outside the studio.

Come learn the ABCs of Pilates: Alignment, Breath, and Control/Concentration/Core. Like Yoga, Pilates is a mind-body discipline that helps integrate physical and mental aspects of our being. You'll learn to improve your posture and stand taller, tighten and firm your midsection, and help your joints function better. This class is appropriate for beginners. Each session will include core work and stretching to leave you relaxed and ready for the rest of your day!
Wear your favorite jockstrap or any comfortable clothes that allow you to move. (For those who prefer to "rock out with your cock out," see the Naked Pilates classes in the Naked Yoga and Wellness Group.)
