GDG Cloud Melbourne Hands-on Workshop: DevFest 2024 Special

Details

Please RSVP via: https://gdg.community.dev/e/mwdgez/

This workshop will give you an understanding of how to build with GenAI as a developer. We will go from making a simple API call to an LLM to understanding and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to feed context to your bot.

You will leave with an application that will give you a basis for creating bots that work with your data and a bit of inspiration for what else you can manifest with GenAI.Pre-requisites:

We will use Gemini API free-tier so will need your Google account. And we'll also use Astra DB to store data, so please sign up for a DataStax account through this link beforehand: https://dtsx.io/gdg-rag-workshop.
