Widgets Are So Hot Right Now (Katie Barnett)

Android widgets are making a comeback! Learn how to build dynamic and interactive Widgets with Jetpack Compose and Glance and get your app on everyone’s home screen!

We'll cover how to update and configure widgets with data from an API or database periodically, how to make your widget blend in with your device wallpaper and respond to user interactions. Also learn how Glance differs from regular Jetpack Compose and some of the traps when you are just getting started with widgets!

Unified Insights: Crafting an Analytics Solution in Jetpack Compose (Kartik Arora)

Learn the best practices for creating a robust, vendor-agnostic analytics framework in Jetpack Compose. This session will guide you through designing flexible, scalable solutions that keep your app adaptable and future-proof, no matter which analytics provider you choose.

Note: Each talk is 30 minutes, following the two talks there will be light refreshments alongside a Q&A.
