Lauriston castle grounds & Kyoto friendship garden.

Let us visit the stunning grounds and gardens of Lauriston Castle. A fabulous Edwardian House in the North West of Edinburgh.
A place that feels a little like 'the secret garden' with delightful surprises around every corner, like a pond with statue, a formal Edwardian garden & greenhouse, and breathtaking views of Cramond Island and Fife.
In addition to all of this there is the stunning and atmospheric Kyoto Friendship Garden, a Japanese garden complete with zen area, pond with bridge and waterfall.
This is flat and easy, with it being entirely up to attendees re how much they want to walk around. To walk around all the grounds would take no more than an hour at a very gentle pace.
Parking available at car park just as you enter gates where we will all meet prior to commencing our walk.
Please note that all our walks are run by volunteers with no liability insurance or first aid training. Attendance of these walks must be at the attendees own risk. Thank you.
