What we’re about

Welcome to Georgia Foodies! As a foodie group, we enjoy meeting people, experiencing new foods and venues, and revisiting our favorite tried-and-true locations. After all, what better way to forge new friendships than over food?

Be sure to view and subscribe to our blog (georgiafoodies.com) and follow us on Facebook and Instagram by searching Georgiafoodies!

Regarding Attendance:
As our organizers work tirelessly to set up reservations and make necessary accommodations for our members, we have a strict No-Show Removal policy. While members are encouraged to make any changes to their RSVP before the event, should you need to cancel, we ask that you do so a soon as possible. Doing so allows us to make any changes to our event menu and gives the members on our Waitlist the opportunity to attend.

FYI - CANCELING THE DAY OF THE EVENT IS STILL CONSIDERED A NO-SHOW
(Please contact the organizer in which case this happens and cant be helped)

Please be aware that failure to notify us that you will not be at an event through the MeetUp RSVP feature or other means of communication will result in no-show removal from the group.

Further, we will immediately remove any members who create an unsafe or uncomfortable atmosphere for our other members.

Members who are removed are not eligible to rejoin the group in the future.

Regarding COVID-19 and Other Illnesses
While it is always our goal to provide our members with a safe dining experience, we cannot control the contagious nature of COVID-19, nor that of other illnesses.

By attending our events, members and guests acknowledge and accept the sole risk and responsibility of potential exposure to and infection of COVID-19 and other illnesses. Furthermore, attending members and guests take on the sole responsibility for any accompanying consequences of exposure and/or infection, including, but not limited to, the transmission of illness to others around you (household, work, etc.), long-lasting conditions/side-effects/permanent disability to you or others around you, and death to you or others around you.

To protect our members’ medical privacy, we do not require vaccination or proof of vaccination to attend our events.

If you are not feeling well, we do ask that you do not attend our events until you are well.
