Join us for a Beautiful 14.5km walk along the Head to Head Coastal Cliffs Walkway, located on the Banks Peninsula near Christchurch.

This lovely coastal walk takes you from Diamond Harbour, along the coastline to Charteris Bay, then onto a quiet country lane leading us to “The old stock route” before dropping into Purau and looping back via Stoddart Point.
With amazing harbor views, and three swimming beaches along the way, This is sure to be a stunning walk.

**Please note there are steep cliff edges on the way and parts of the path are narrow, so care needs to be taken to ensure good foot placement.**

Afterwards, for those that are interested - we can grab nibbles and drinks at the **Diamond Harbour Eatery & Bar** 2i Waipapa Avenue, Diamond Harbour (Open until 9:30pm).

**Meet at 10:00am at Diamond Harbour Wharf.**

*You are welcome to take the 9:50am ferry from Lyttelton to Diamond Harbour.*
Lyttelton Ferry Terminal — hop on the ferry to Diamond Harbour Wharf Tickets: $6 each way, payable on board. If you have a metro card it is cheaper, EFTPOS is accepted onboard.

**🥾🧥🥪 What to Bring:**
We'll stop during the hike for a lunch so please bring food and at least 2L drink. We’ll visit a café after the hike where we can get refreshments.
• Suitable hiking clothes & hiking footwear for winter conditions
• Hiking boots or Trainers
• Waterproof jacket, something to stop the wind.
• Water (ideally 2 liters)
• Togs if you'd like to swim
• Packed lunch
• Money for drinks and refreshments after the hike

Outdoor activities involve a risk of personal injury, the group leader will be carrying a First Aid Kit and Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) - please do consider bringing your own personal First Aid Kit and PLB.
The weather can change unexpectedly, please bring suitable hiking clothes such as thermals, waterproof jacket and trousers in case the weather turns cold.
