Kilimanjaro Climb, Serengeti Safari, & Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Full Itinerary:

Kilimanjaro Climb: Machame Route - Sometimes called the Whiskey Route. This popular route steep paths through magnificent forests to gain a ridge leading through the moorland zones to the Shira Plateau. It then traverses beneath the glaciated precipices of the Southern Ice Fields to join the Barafu Route to the Summit at 19,341 feet.

Accommodations on the mountain are in tents, which porters will pitch and carry for you. In fact, all you carry is your day pack with rain gear, an extra layer of clothes, your water, and some snacks, everything else is carried for you!

DAY 1:2nd July 2025: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, pick up, and transfer to your hotel for overnight bed and breakfast.
DAY 2:3rd July 2025: Hike from Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Elevation: 5,380 ft to 9,350 ft
DAY 3:4th July 2025: Hike from Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Elevation: 9,350 ft to 12,500 ft
DAY 4:5th July 2025: Hike from Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower
Elevation: 12,500 ft to 15,190 ft
Hike from Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Elevation: 15,190 ft to 13,044 ft
DAY 5: 6th July 2025: Hike from Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Elevation: 13,044 ft to 13,106 ft
DAY 6: 7th July 2025: Hike from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Elevation: 13,106 ft to 15,331 ft
DAY 7:8th July 2025: Hike from Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak
Elevation: 15,331 ft to 19,341 ft Summit!
Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
Elevation: 19,341 ft to 10,065 ft
DAY 8:9th July 2025: Descend from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate
Elevation: 10,065 ft to 5,380 ft
A vehicle will meet us at Mweka Village to drive us back to the hotel in Moshi.
DAY 9: 10th July 2025: Leisure/relaxing day at the Hotel or visiting Moshi Kids Center for the volunteering activities with the kids and teacher

*Climbers only package - Climber will be transferred to JRO to fly home after breakfast

** Safari and Hot Spring group is picked up at JRO and transferred to the Hotel.
Chemka Hot Springs Day

DAY 10:11th July 2025: A DAYTRIP TO KIKULETWA/CHEMKA HOT SPRING. In the morning drive to Kikuletwa Hotspring which will take about an hour from the Hotel. Rundugai hot water springs Chemka hot springs are an unexpected paradise hidden in the desert scrub outside the town of Boma.
Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro National Park Safari

Day 11: 12th July 2025: After breakfast, you will take a flight from ARUSHA FLYING TO NORTHERN SERENGETI As you arrive at the Kogatende Airstrip, our professional driver-guide will welcome you with a boxed lunch. Enjoy lunch as you move on to a fascinating half-day game drive for the chance to view the spectacular Great Migration.

Day 12: 13th July 2025: NORTHERN SERENGETI On your third day, you get to enjoy a private bush breakfast along with a packed lunch as you take a drive through the lush green landscape of Serengeti that is home to millions of wildlife inhabitants. This is an ideal place for viewing lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and other wildebeests.
Day 13: 14th July 2025: NORTHERN SERENGETI - CENTRAL SERENGETI A Morning game drive in Northern Serengeti to track the Great Migration along with Big 5 in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Later on, depart and drive to Central Serengeti with en route game drive. Tonight we will again stay in Serengeti for a delicious dinner and a comfortable stay at night.
DAY 14: 15th July 2025: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA Enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before your transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Check-in at the Lodge for an afternoon walking safari. Walking with your local Maasai guide, and hiking through the hills and plains of Maasai country you will get to know this ancient culture well, perhaps bumping into local herdsmen along the way or the many animals that cohabitate with them within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
DAY 15: 16th July 2025: NGORONGORO CRATER | After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lions that include the magnificent black manned males. Other game that you can see include leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.
DAY 16: 17th July 2025: KILIMANJARO AIRPORT | DEPARTURE After breakfast transfer to JRO to catch your departure flight back home.
