Stow Maries WW1 airfield circular ramble approx 5 miles

Well now who fancies this ramble near Stow Maries which we have done a few times before. The main route ( Pilot's Way ), once we arrive at the airfield entrance takes you round the boundary of the airfield which eventually leads into the back yard of The Prince of Wales pub where we can stop for refreshments or a nibble before returning to our meet up point via the disused rail line.

Please meet at 1030am for a 1045am start. You can park your cars in Hamberts Road or King Edward's Rd. Wearing the correct footwear for this ramble is advisable as it is mainly on dirt trails which could be muddy and a bit of tarmac. Maybe bring a walking stick as they come in handy on wet or moist terrain. You can bring your K9s if you wish but please put them on their leads if we encounter any animals.
